Some might perceive being deaf
as a fate worse than death,
but rather than succumb to shameful hate,
find a newfound way to appreciate
the opportunity to fully live
through the willingness to forgive,
and marvel at the wonder
of the musical nature of sound
while on the lifelong journey
towards becoming found,
and by simply moving along
without doing anything wrong,
a person would then be able
to bring more to the table
as a way to honor each and every day
while making the world greater
in any given way,
for love itself would never come about
from anyone who is a hater,
and the importance of patience
could make someone a waiter,
for the sublime value of precious time
could be even more beautiful
than anything considered magical,
for life itself could become absolutely wonderful
through an attitude full of gratitude
for the ability to hear
while developing a fundamental purpose
for living here without a doubt
