Worth the Wait

Surrender to the wonder of everlasting beauty

that is out there to see

as a way to develop

a sense of rational clarity,

and even if no power on Earth

can change the past,

try to search for the magic

that life itself could cast,

and remember how this very moment

is definitely not the last,

and by honoring today

as a precious present to hold,

dare to create

the greatest story ever told,

especially since learning from history

can assuage the fear of the unknown,

and by reflecting on how much

one has truly grown,

attempt to understand

how the future remains a mystery,

but it could still become

a golden opportunity

to live with authenticity

while accepting the human identity,

and ultimately earn

an attitude filled with gratitude,

with no need for isolation,

especially since becoming grateful

would sometimes require

delayed gratification

before finally being able

to aspire and inspire
