Since the past is a part of history
While the future remains a mystery,
The present is a gift within itself
As well as a golden opportunity,
And by being able to see the beauty
All throughout the truth of reality,
There could really be the possibility
To offer hope for all of humanity,
And by starting from the heart
Beginning today,
Now is the time to make the world better
In any given way,
And through the choice to share a voice
To become finally heard,
A person must never underestimate
The power of the written word,
Especially since a pen
Can actually be mightier than a sword,
And one must make violence cease
To bring about a sense of peace,
So, strive to be alive
As well as soothe the soul
To truly become a gift
To the world as a whole
