The Price of Patience

Wait without hate

As a way to see

The beauty within reality,

And sometimes waiting

Is the only action to take

To let go of the shame

From past mistakes,

Especially since being kind

Actually does take time,

So focus on the fundamental

As well as anything essential

By trying to be gentle,

And offer a sense of comfort

So that no one would get hurt,

And even if the past cannot change,

Cope with hope

As a way to rearrange,

And eradicate the fear

Of anything unknown

Because history has shown

How life is like a story

That must be told,

So live with humility

By accepting the human identity,

And earn both knowledge and wisdom

Through the acceptance of what went wrong,

And then keep dancing through life

By simply moving along
