After the stroke of midnight,
The darkness within the night
Would hopefully give way
To the power of enduring light,
And as a new day would come about,
A person might be able
To bring more to the table
By overcoming doubt,
And perhaps even see
With a newfound sense of clarity
As well as ponder about the wonder
Within endless possibilities,
And no matter what
The future will have in store,
Knowing how love can open doors
Could result in richness
Rather than feeling poor,
And dare to go on
Long after the break of dawn
To witness the finesse
Within the present of today,
And ultimately become someone
Even after the night is done
