In terms of the nature
Of the performance of a lifetime,
Having a part
That one must play
Characterizes every day,
And come what may,
It is truly essential
To focus on the fundamental,
Especially since anything indelible
Is also irreversible,
But rather than live in fear,
Find a reason for being here,
And simply go on with the show
As a way to hopefully know
How to strive for more
No matter what the future
Will have in store,
And even if life is unpredictable,
Simply attempt to rehearse,
And continue on
To be as bright as the light
Found within the break of dawn
While remaining truly pure
To let the heart and soul endure
