Soliloquy from a Balcony

Shining like the sun

Only when the day has just begun,

And having the willpower

To overcome the darkest hour

Could really help a person

Truly become someone,

And as sunlight travels

Near and far,

The acceptance of others

For who they are

Can truly make love

As boundless as the sea,

All while striving for a sense

Of peaceful tranquility

So that the ebb and flow

Of water that purifies

Could cleanse and make amends

While helping people realize

That focusing on the fundamental

Is absolutely essential

Rather than fearing the inevitable
